Presidents and Baseball

I'm not gonna lie....i dont much about politics. In case you dont know me, the only thing i know in this world is sports. When it comes to the presidential topics, i generally dont care, i dont see how anyone can do a bad job. However, over the last year i have started to notice how bad of a job President Bush has done as President. Actually, if i may say he stinks. To relate him to baseball he's a terrible pitcher. If i was manager i would have yanked him out in the 2nd inning (about 2002). He should have been stuck on the bench long before he gave up the 15 runs in the 4th inning (Iraq). We would be booing him off the field and probebly throwing peanuts at him. And you know there would be some crazy fan with the JOHN 3:16 sign. This was a terrible 8 year game from the moment it started.

At this moment in time we need to find the right relief pitcher. Do we go with the old veteran that is probably going to be just as bad as the starter (McCain). He'll just make the situation worse and most likly make this game unwinable. Or do we go with the kid with electric stuff (Obama). We have scene what he can do in the minors (the senate), but is he ready for the big time lights?

Personally I would go with the kid. He's got just dynomite "stuff" and i think he can lead us in the right direction. (Also if this is a national league game i have heard he is quite the hitter as well)

hey i like how you used baseball as an analogy in this post. I don't generally read sports articles (sorry!) but I liked in this one how even though you said you don't care much about politics, you posted what you thought anyway. Maybe next time use examples from actual articles of how McCain is similar to President Bush, or how Obama has proven himself a good leader in the senate. You make good points, and I think there are a lot of articles out there that would back up your opinions.
