Just read the report that the devils traded for ilya kovelchuck....what a great move that is. im not saying that the Devils are going to win the cup. But they have significantly improved their chances at it. Great scorer. adding star power is good too. The thing about the devils is they are the most underrated franchise in the NHL...in a sense they are the Angels of hockey. (by angels i mean the ones in LA/Anaheim). They have 3 cups in the 16 years, and have been consitatnly in the playoffs. Martin Broduer is one of the best goalies of all-time, if u don't believe me u can look at the numbers yourself.
my next entree will consist of some baseball talk so make sure you tune in for that

I would love to hear more about hockey...if the Whalers were still in Hartford. The fact of the matter is you Yankee fans can't stick to the regimen. If you like the Yankees, you root for the Giants, Rangers, and Knicks. That's how it goes. No more of this fairweather I'm rooting for the best teams in each league. Anyway, unless the Hurricanes are in contention, which their not, lets keep the blog off hockey before your following is reduced to zero. How about a glimpse into the life of Gmen1721 as a future blog post. Now that would be interesting.
