USA USA USA

Can you be any prouder as an American right now after the brilliant victory over Canada today at the Winter Olympics. I just feel so patriotic right now, it is truely an awesome feeling. To be the Canadians in Canada is just special. Team Canada is absolutely loaded with All-Stars such as Iginla, Crosby, Broduer, and Stall, and Team USA took it to them. I loved the look on the faces of the Canadians fans faces. USA just walked in there house in there sport and showed them whose boss. Rafalski, Jack Johnson, and all of the defense did what they had to do, and Captain (and Devil may I add) Jamie Langenbrunner really has his squad playing well. I am excited entering the elimination round. Can wait to watch the Finland/Sweden Game, if its half as good as Canada/USA it'll be a treat.

In other news, Baseball season is upon us. I have been up and down on some of the moves my New York Yankees have done. I dont like the Granderson move because I was so high on Austin Jackson, but then again we got rid of Phil Coke so that is AWESOME. I love the Vazquez move, that was brilliant by Cashman, I know us Yankees fans have bad memories of Game 7 2004 ALCS, but I'm willing to give him benefit of the doubt that he was hurt. The Randy Winn signing is terrible. I just wish we could have brought back Damon. One of the great intangibles to last years team was our looseness in the clubhouse, and we got rid of that component. And Winn is just an old guy that cant do much. My next post will be about the Red Sox and Mets so make sure you come back for that.

Devils

Just read the report that the devils traded for ilya kovelchuck....what a great move that is. im not saying that the Devils are going to win the cup. But they have significantly improved their chances at it. Great scorer. adding star power is good too. The thing about the devils is they are the most underrated franchise in the NHL...in a sense they are the Angels of hockey. (by angels i mean the ones in LA/Anaheim). They have 3 cups in the 16 years, and have been consitatnly in the playoffs. Martin Broduer is one of the best goalies of all-time, if u don't believe me u can look at the numbers yourself.

my next entree will consist of some baseball talk so make sure you tune in for that
